Sidney Stringer Academy is a very rewarding place to work in for students and staff alike. We offer a range of professional development opportunities for all our staff, be it the new entrants and through to the profession through the Graduate Teacher or Post-Graduate Certificate routes, continuing professional development at all stages of teaching career and a commitment to training for the increasing number of support staff who contribute to our work.
 
Just under half of the total workforce at the Academy are support staff, and recruitment here has been one of the major factors in the school’s success in recent years.
 
We are committed to the principles of Investors in People, and try to make them a reality for all staff.
 
Sidney Stringer Academy is within walking distance of Coventry railway station and is easily accessible by bus and car.

We are looking for a qualified and ambitious teacher to join our successful English department. The successful candidate will be dynamic, innovative and well-organised, who believes in high aspirations for all students within an inclusive Academy. You will be committed to student success and passionate about innovative teaching and learning; This post would be suited to NQTs as well as experienced applicants.
