Mrs Tomes, Miss Turpin and Mrs Flynn, accompanied by Fatima Mohamed ( Y13) and Austin Fowler (Y9) represented the academy. We were thrilled to be awarded the title of West Midlands Champion. This was one of eight regional awards and means that our provision for Pupil Premium students is amongst the best eight in the country. We are delighted, as it acknowledges the hard work and commitment of our staff and students nationally. It is a prestigious award of which our whole school community is very proud.

Following the presentations, guests were provided with afternoon tea on The River Terrace of the Houses of Parliament and students had an opportunity to visit some of the most famous tourist sites of our capital city. A successful and enjoyable day for all!
